When you arrive in Sri Lanka, you will be able to find one of our representatives from Next Travel Sri Lanka at the Arriving Lounge of the Colombo Airport paging your name. Once your identity is confirmed, you will be guided to the luxurious and comfortable vehicle provided to you, and you will be transferred to your hotel in Colombo. The trip would approximately take around 1 hour, yet this won’t ever be a boring ride for you. As you travel you would get a chance to observe Sri Lankan life at its best. Overnight stay would be at the hotel in Colombo that you checked in.
We would begin the second day of this tour with a guided sightseeing tour. Yes, you guessed it right! We would be exploring the delight of the vibrant city of Colombo. Simply, there is a lot to observe in this city, which is also the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. However, during this tour, we would be visiting the Colombo Fort, which is the most bustling area of this city, the Gangaramaya Temple, which is one of the most alluring cultural and religious attraction that rests by the Beire lake that flows in the heart of the city, and many things more. This sightseeing tour would end with a stroll along the Galle Face Green, which is a park that runs parallel to the blue waves of the Indian Ocean. Guarantee us, the third of this tour is going to be amazingly exciting and thrilling! It would literally be a day of fun in the water. So, you really need to prepare to get wet on this day! However, getting a head start, you would be able to take part in white water rafting with your family. The waves of the Kelani river that flow through the scenic surroundings of Kitulgala offer you the perfect atmosphere for white water rafting. Thus, the fun you witness as you navigate through the rapid 5km of the Kelani river would be simply marvellous. So, we can assure you that this white water rafting experience you witness here is surely the best on the island. On the morning of the fourth day of this tour, you would set off on the Kinchigune Nature Trail, a 6km trail that winds through forests that runs alongside the Belihuloya River. This would be one of the most beautiful experiences that you ever witness on this island, as you would be able to experience the scenic beauty of nature in the surroundings of a lake, along with the charm of the flora and fauna. Moreover, you would also be able to observe the beauty of the village nearby magnifying the delight of this day. During this village tour, you would get the chance of walking past some paddy fields, and exploring the unique charm that this village holds. Simply, it is a park of greenery, that houses a wide array of wildlife, flora and fauna. So, make sure that you keep an eye out for some of the many species that inhabit this park, such as the Sambar deer, wild boars and langur monkeys. Out of the creatures you find here, Asian elephants would be a significant highlight, since this park is popular as a home for the largest elephant gatherings in the world. Apart from that,  leopards, deer, crocodiles, sloth bears and buffalo are the other star attractions of this park. However, after completing a busy, yet wonderful day of game spotting we would return to our campsite for dinner.
The seventh day of the tour is a day with less plans, yet with more excitement. Yes, we have dedicated this whole day to experience the best of the wildlife at Udawalawe National Park. Simply, a single day or a single safari ride is never enough to observe the extensive array of highlights in this park.
