Once your identity is confirmed you will begin your travel to the sacred city of Kandy, which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. On this day, you will visit a spice garden, a wonderful land with all kind of Sri Lankan spices and herbs, that is located around Matale, in close proximity to Kandy. Also, you would get the opportunity of visiting a Batik factory. It would certainly offer you a bunch of delights, as you observe how the Sri Lankans bring out the beautifully designed Batik dresses, and materials, with their unique artistic senses, and their amusing talents. And indeed, that would be a great opportunity for you to explore the beauty and the true values of traditional arts and crafts of Sri Lanka as well. However, the fascinations for the day won’t end there, as you would be witnessing an amazing Kandyan Dance act, at around 6.00 pm in the evening that day. And finally, you would visit the Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is the most sacred religious attraction of Buddhists in Sri Lanka. Following the breakfast of the second day, you would leave Kandy in the morning to first visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
