When you arrive in Sri Lanka, you will be able to find one of our representatives from Next Travel Sri Lanka at the Arriving Lounge of the Colombo Airport paging your name. Once your identity is confirmed, you will be guided to our luxury vehicle to begin your tour. The plans we set for the day might vary depending on your time of arrival. However, if you arrive before noon, we would be visiting the Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, a wonderful land of flowers. Besides, it is the park that houses the first imported rubber tree of Sri Lanka. However, following this visit we would be heading to the hotel in Negombo that you are staying overnight. The climb would take around 3 hours up and down, and upon completing this trip, you also have the opportunity of climbing the Pidurangala rock, which is just a few miles away from Sigiriya. Further, we have scheduled a village tour on this day. The walk by the greenery of the paddy fields that rests amidst the pleasing environment of Sigiriya, the attractive birdlife out there, and the genuine smiles and the hospitality of the Sri Lankans are sure to make this village tour one of your favourites on this island. And then, we would continue our trip to Kandy, and on the way, we would be visiting a spice garden. In the evening, we are planning to explore the ancient city of Kandy, the last capital kingdom of past Sri Lanka, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During this trip, you would be visiting the Temple of the Tooth, the most sacred religious attraction of Buddhist, and rest a bit by the scenic Bogambara lake as well. The day ends with a Cultural Show that reveals to you the grandeur of the Sri Lankan culture and traditions. Overnight stay would be at Kandy.

The sixth day of this tour is simply going to be more interesting, as we have planned a wonderful trek on this day. Yes, we would be trekking the Knuckles Forest Reserve. The day would begin with a brief description of the trek by your tour guide and the breakfast would be at Game Gadara. However, the trek would begin at around 8.00 a.m, and during the tour, you are highly encouraged to be a part of this village life, which would further enhance the fascination of this trek. Besides, this is simply a trek amidst nature, beauty and birdlife.
