- With global recognition, Sri Lanka has effectively managed and controlled the spread of the COVID-19 within the country. As per the latest safety protocols published by the Sri Lankan government, no quarantine or any PCR Test is required if you are fully vaccinated. Also, non-vaccinated children are free to travel with adults after receiving an on arrival negative PCR test.
- For non-vaccinated travelers, an arrival PCR test will be conducted at your first hotel of stay and results will be given within a few hours. If the PCR test is negative, all facilities of the hotel will be available to the guests, as well as you are free to travel around the country with no restrictions.
- Ensure the use of the traditional greeting of Sri Lanka, ‘Ayubowan’ at all times instead of hugging or handshaking.
- Ensure all tourists wear face masks and maintain a safe 1.5-meter distance. Face masks are only a mandatory requirement when visiting tourist attractions and interacting with society.
- The Driver / Tour Leader should maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between two people at all times.
- The driver / Tour Leader should wear face masks and gloves when interacting with passengers.
- Travelers are requested to sanitize their hands frequently during the tour and site visits; also, they should wash their hands with soap and running water at the end of each site visit.
