The climb to this rock would take around 1-2 hours depending on your speed, and the ruins of the water garden, still functioning water fountains, mirror wall, Sigiriya frescoes, and the ruins of the ancient palace, will surely fascinate you. With that, the second day of the tour would end, and you will spend your night at a nature-friendly resort at Sigiriya/Dambulla.
Next, you will stop at Kaudulla / Minneriya National Park, which is one of the most popular national parks on the island, where you can spot the highest number of Sri Lankan elephants in their natural habitat. To grab out the best out of this visit, we have planned a jeep safari out there, creating opportunities to explore the wildlife up close and personal.
Thereafter, you can enjoy the comforts and the relaxation of an Ayurvedic herbal massage at an Ayurvedic spa if you are interested, and then you will head to a natural-friendly resort at Dambulla/Sigiriya for your overnight stay.
